Get ready to meet the real MVPs of the garden—worms and bees! In this fun, hands-on 4-H workshop series, youth will build and care for a worm composting bin and watch as worms turn everyday food scraps into rich, natural fertilizer. Then, they’ll put those powerful worm castings to work by planting their own herbs and vegetables to take home and grow. But that’s not all—participants will also help pollinators by creating their own bee hotel, learning how these important insects support the plants we grow.

Youth will learn how to care for worms, reduce food waste, support pollinators, and grow healthy plants—all while getting their hands a little dirty. It’s a perfect mix of science, gardening, and real-life skills they can use at home long after the workshop ends!

Don't let your kid miss their chance to be a movie producer! They will also have fun playing camp style games and a few LEGO building challenges throughout the week.
