In next hands-on-activity, students will learn about the structure of a plant cell. We will explore the functions of the different components of a plant cell. Students will use a variety of objects to create their own plant cell model that can be taken home! Space is limited, so register early!

STEM Builders Challenge is a half-day, hands-on camp where students work in small teams to build, test, and improve their own structures and creations. Participants will take part in fun building challenges—such as towers and bridges—using everyday materials while learning how designers and engineers think about strength, stability, and teamwork. Along the way, students will practice planning their ideas, working within simple rules and time limits, and improving their designs through testing and teamwork. No prior STEM experience is needed—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to build!
