Have you always wanted to learn Spanish but never found the right class? Designed for busy adults, Spanish for Real Life: Beginner 1 focuses on practical conversation—not memorization or grammar drills. Through interactive activities, games, partner practice, and real-life situations, you'll begin speaking Spanish from your very first class. Learn useful phrases for travel, restaurants, shopping, introductions, and everyday conversations in a fun, supportive environment. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to try. Leave each class feeling more confident and ready to use Spanish in the real world.

The program combines hybrid instruction, with required in-person classroom sessions and online coursework, to provide both practical and theoretical knowledge. Online coursework will require internet access and ideally a computer.  Mobile device is possible but not ideal.  Students will gain hands-on experience using industry-standard dispatch software, learn emergency communication protocols, and develop the critical decision-making skills needed in high-pressure situations.

In this class you will learn the basics of sewing: sewing buttons, using a sewing machine, sewing by hand, seam finishes, and more!

Participants are asked to bring the following supplies to class: Bring scissors and your own sewing machine if you have one. If you don't, the teacher has 5 extra machines people can share.
