Getting Started in Computer Forensics Career Exploration Camp
1 day class Thursday July 9 from 9:00am to 12:00pm Kaskaskia College Main Campus
Participants will learn to operate advanced digital forensic software while working through a simulated arson investigation. In this hands-on summer boot camp, students will analyze digital evidence to determine whether a suspect is responsible for the current arson charges and uncover any additional criminal activity.
Using professional computer forensics tools, participants will explore how investigators recover and interpret data to reconstruct user activity and build a case from digital evidence.
Robotics 101 with LEGO® WeDo Education, ages 6-13 yrs CKICK 5135 TR01D

Ages: 6 - 13
Students will build LEGO® creations from WeDo® Education, turning them into a robot, programmed to do exactly what they tell it to do. Robotics 101 uses drag and drop icon-based programming and offers an introduction into the fun of building with LEGO® Bricks. Additionally, the students will face the challenge of computer programming some pretty awesome robots that will equip them to succeed in a technology-based marketplace. They will also have fun playing camp style games and a few LEGO® building challenges. Get your student ready for a fun, action-packed week that combines real-life skills with real-kid fun! Each student will also take home a LEGO® mini figure.
