School is out and that means more time for video games. This camp puts kids Super Mario Brothers knowledge to use with interactive model building. Each day campers will build different characters from the popular video game. They include motorized models, 3D models and mosaic models all built out of LEGO® Bricks. They will also build and take home a personalized LEGO® mini figure.

Getting Started in Cyber Defense & Security Career Exploration Camp
1 day class Wednesday July 9 from 9:00am to 12:00pm
This interactive hands-on boot camp will provide attendees with firsthand experience of how hackers hack computer systems. Demonstration of core tools and basics will be covered, attendees will participate along and complete activities on computer systems. An authorized virtual machine target will be used in which you will walk right through the entire hacking process from start to finish. The result will be gaining access to the target machine through discovery methods and cracking tools. Attendees should be successful in gaining access to the authorized target system without knowing anything about it up front.
Students who are considering getting into career fields associated with Cybersecurity and Cyber Defense should attend this dynamic boot camp. All attendees will gain valuable insight into the challenges in this field as it is related to defeating hackers and what can sadly easily happen when quality cybersecurity is not followed. All attendees successfully completing the series of challenge laboratories while learning will earn a "1st Hacking Project" digital ribbon.
All attendees should identify that in order to provide adequate protection of computing systems and devices, we must also know how to divide and conquer them to achieve this goal. Penetration testing is a required workforce job requirement. Gaining first-and experience with this will assist anyone in making well-informed decisions regarding entering this exciting career field.
