In this class you will learn the basics of sewing: sewing buttons, using a sewing machine, sewing by hand, seam finishes, and more!
Participants are asked to bring the following supplies to class: Bring scissors and your own sewing machine if you have one. If you don't, the teacher has 5 extra machines people can share.

When the lights go down, the magic begins! Kids create a glowing enchanted forest filled with hidden creatures, glowing mushrooms, magical plants, and secret pathways using fluorescent paint and mixed media.

Join us for a spooktacular good time learning how to decorate cookies!! Students will learn how to hold an icing bag, and how to make dots and lines as we decorate pumpkin-shaped cut-out cookies. This class is offered in partnership with the University of Illinois extension office for youth 5 - 9 years old.
