Explore the challenging world of Minecraft by using LEGO® Bricks to build some of the popular game figures, construct motorized LEGO® models, 3D, and mosaic builds inspired by the game. Campers will be given new challenges each day to craft elements in the game to build upon their gaming/coding skills too. They will also build and take home a personalized LEGO® mini figure.

Campers will build motorized rides out of LEGO® Technic Bricks each day, play games and learn what features an amusement park should have. Arrive early at pickup time on the last day of camp to see the Amusement Park.

Students will explore real heating and cooling equipment while tackling a fast-paced scavenger hunt filled with clues, tools, and challenges. Along the way, they’ll discover how HVAC professionals keep homes and buildings running efficiently and why these skills are in high demand.

STEM Builder's Challenge, 4th-8th CKICK-5040-TR02D

STEM Builders Challenge is a half-day, hands-on camp where students work in small teams to build, test, and improve their own structures and creations. Participants will take part in fun building challenges—such as towers and bridges—using everyday materials while learning how designers and engineers think about strength, stability, and teamwork. Along the way, students will practice planning their ideas, working within simple rules and time limits, and improving their designs through testing and teamwork. No prior STEM experience is needed—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to build!
STEM Experiments: Chromatography & Garden in a Glove, ages5-7 yrs CKICK-5040-TR03D

Did you ever wonder what makes markers different colors? In this experiment we will determine whether dyes are single substances or composed of multiple other dyes! Create a work of art that is yours to keep while capillary action and chromatography! The next expreiment in this class is a hands-on activity, where we will explore the stages of plant growth. Students will learn about basic plant biology and how growing conditions can impact seedling development. Using these principles, they will create their very own mini greenhouse environments! Space is limited, so register early!
