Students will learn about a variety of concepts, like friction, balance, and the practical application of technology while putting their robots to the test in different playful challenges. In next hands-on-activity, students will learn about the structure of a plant cell. We will explore the functions of the different components of a plant cell. Students will use a variety of objects to create their own plant cell model that can be taken home! Space is limited, so register early!

This class is designed to teach students the basics of magic presentation, the history of magic and illusions, how to make your own magic tricks, how to learn professional level illusions, and how to have fun doing this. Each student will pay a $15 fee directly to the instructor for supplies.

Sun Prints: Exploring Cyanotypes, ages 7-13 yrs CKICK-5278-NS01D

Discover the magic of cyanotypes! Print flowers, leaves, other natural objects, and drawn images with sun-sensitive paper. Students will have the opportunity to gather objects, create compositions, and watch their print develop when exposed to UV light. Once dry, students have the option of creating a mixed media cyanotype, adding to their print with watercolor, paint pes, and other drawing materials. Students will leave the camp with their own unique prints.
